Projects 2016

The projects selected and implemented during the year 2016 were also focused on providing support towards the upliftment to the schools in the Mannar District. 

• Successfully completed a three day Educational Seminar for 1200 Ordinary Level students from the entire district of Mannar, which was conducted by Applied Science faculty students from the Sabragamuwa University at Mannar St Xavier’s College, Pesalai  Fatima M. Maha Vidyalayam, Murungan Maha Vidyalayam and  Adampan M. Maha Vidyalayam. A sum of Rs. 538,465.00 was spent on this project.
• Donated 150 school bags with stationary to the Children day on December 2015 at Periyapandivirichan Mannar for the cost Rs 150,000.00.
• Donated 5 ladies bicycles to Sisters of Mary Immaculate Children Home at Pesalai for the cost of Rs. 80,000.00.
• A Photocopy machine for the cost of Rs.132, 250.00 was handed over to the MN/Eachchalawakkai G.T.M School, Periyamadhu.
• A sum of Rs. 120,000.00 as the annual salary for two volunteer teachers was handed over to the MN/Pappamoddai R.C.T.M.School, Pappamoddai.
• One Photocopy machine for the cost of Rs.138,750.00 was handed over to the  MN/Uyilankulam R.C.T.M. School.
• One photocopy machine for the cost of Rs.138,750.00 was handed over to the MN/Mullikulam R.C.T.M. School   Mullikulam, Marichchikaddy.
• One photocopy machine for the cost of Rs.138,750.00 was handed over to the MN/Alawakkai G.T.M. School Murunkan.
• One photocopy machine for the cost of Rs.138,750.00 was handed over to the MN/Sooriyakaddaikadu R.C.T.M. School.
