Projects 2015

The projects selected and implemented during the year 2015 was entirely focused on providing support towards the upliftment of education and schools in the Mannar District. 

• A land master for children transport and for water supply for the cost of Rs. 3,450,000.00 and school bags and stationary for 25 students for the cost of Rs. 25,000.00 was donated to the MN/Koorai G.T.M School, Koorai, Athimoddai.
• Classroom dividers for the cost of Rs. 49,250.00, school bags and stationary for 15 students for the cost of Rs.15,000.00, three storage cupboards for the cost of Rs. 43,000.00 was handed over to the MN/Parappukkadanthan G.T.M School, Vaddakkandal.
• A photocopy machine for the cost of Rs. Rs.132,000.00 and school bags with stationary for 70 students for the cost of Rs.70,000.00 as well a sum of rs.96,000.00 as annual salary for two voluntary teachers we given to the MN/Pappamoddai R.C.T.M School, Pappamoddai.
• A photocopy machine for the cost of Rs. Rs.132,000.00 was handed over to the MN/Sornapuri government muslim mixed school, Adampan.
• A photocopy machine for the cost of Rs. Rs.132,000.00  and a multimedia projector for the cost of Rs.63,000.00 was handed over to the MN/ Anthoniyarpuram G.T.M School.
• A photo copy machine for the cost of Rs. Rs.132,000.00 and a computer for the cost of Rs.92,000.00 was handed over to the MN/ Thampanaikulam G.T.M School.
• A photocopy machine for the cos of Rs. Rs.132,000.00 and five storage cupboards for the cost of Rs.72,500.00 was handed over to the MN/ Adampan R.C.T.M School Adampan.
• A photocopy machine for the cos of Rs. Rs.132,000.00 was handed over to the MN/Madhukkarai G.T.M School.
• A sum of Rs.200,000.00 has been allocated for water tank and pipeline work for MN/Naruvilikulam G.T.M School which has been delayed due to monsoon rains.
• One computer for the cost of Rs.92,000.00, a printer for the cost of Rs.13,250.00, a sum of Rs. 1,200,000.00 as annual salary for two volunteer teachers were handed over to the Keerisuttan School. In addition, a total sum of Rs.30,000.00 was spent three times forest cleaning around school.
• Successfully completed a three-day workshop for 130 students of Year 5 scholarship, from 52 schools in Madhu zone aimed at providing the students with further revision on the subjects at a cost of the project is Rs.223,000.00.
• A photocopy machine for the cos of Rs.132,000.00 was handed over to the Mullikulam School. 
• A complete audio sound system for the cost of Rs. 60,000.00 and school bags with stationary for 70 students for the cost of Rs.70,000.00 was handed over to the MN/Ilahadippiddi R.C.T.M School.
• 35 sets of school bags with stationary for the cost of Rs.35,000.00 was handed over to the MN/Alawakkai G.T.M School. 
• The Diploma in English which was commenced in 2014 under the objective of providing leadership and professionalism held its graduation ceremony was held on 27th January 2015 at Town Council, Mannar in a grand scale with the blessings of Rt.Rev.Dr.Rayappu Joseph as the Chief Guest. Cost for the awarding ceremony is Rs.200,000.00.
